Part hair lotion, part leave-in hair conditioner, it's our lowest hold product and is a favorite for natural looks.

Best applied to damp, "towel dry" hair, or with a drop of water added to the product in your palm. Scoop a dime sized amount of Coastal Creme, then use your fingers and palms to emulsify in a circular motion, while spreading to your fingertips. Spread evenly throughout your hair. Style with your hands for a natural look, or with a comb for a stylized look.

Coastal Creme Pomade rebuilds, nourishes and styles hair - unlike most petroleum-based pomades that dry and destroy hair and scalp, our water-based, activated hair creme utilizes a potent emulsion of cleansing floral water, protectant fatty plant oils, and protein-rich botanical extracts. We hand select each plant ingredient and test each formulation for thousands of hours at our San Francisco barbershop. Bottled in biophotonic glass jars to preserve ingredient integrity and potency, our products are made in very small batches usually just weeks before you receive them, so you may notice color variation from one bottle to the next as the ingredients change through the seasons.

Just enough

I keep my hair less than 1.5” long at the longest point. I wanted something that gives it a little bit of hold and a little moisture but doesn’t look like anything. This works great when I use it on wet hair just out of the shower. For use on dry hair if I want it to look a little neater, say I’m going somewhere, I use a little Sun Wax on top.

Finally one that works for ne

After trying about 10 different pomades the Coastal crème is the one. I have fine hair that always looks like it would have product in it but the CC integrates so well and allows me to have some hold with a heaviness.

The Clay pomade is good also for some extra hold but the CC just works better for me. It’s very soft in the container, just an FYI.

The best hair creme in the world

I asked Grok for the best hair creme in the world.

I explained that I was based in the USA, and wanted all-natural ingredients.

Grok sent me to Church California.

Since then, I have bought 3 or 4 of the Coastal Creme Pomades.

And the shampoo bar.

And the conditioner bar.

I even bought the wooden tray for the shampoo and conditioner.

Finally, I bought the natural deodorant, which is incredibly good.

So, essentially, I have, over time, bought everything.

It is of the highest quality.

The prices are incredibly reasonable.
