When transitioning from anti-perspirant to natural deodorant, you will sweat more and produce more odor in the first two weeks than ever before, as your body purges the aluminum build-up and associated odor-causing bacteria stored up from your previous product. The transition period usually lasts between two and four weeks, and it's this increased sweating and odor during "the purge" that leads many people to believe natural deodorants don't work for them.
