Did you know we offer a rebate for every returned pomade jar?

Customers that are local to Church Barber in San Francisco regularly return each glass jar in exchange for 10% off their next pomade. Non-local customers like to build up to five or more jars and then send back all at one time, and we apply 10% per jar toward the purchase of one pomade (5 jars = $15 off, 10 jars = free pomade).

HOW IT WORKS
  1. Send your jars back to us, preferably using the United States Postal Service, here:

    Church Barber, ATTN SWAP
    524 Octavia Street
    San Francisco, CA 94102

  2. Once you’ve mailed your jars back, email us at: swap@churchcalifornia.com,
and we’ll send a rebate to your most recent method of payment.

At Church California we aspire to a Zero Waste lifestyle by following the 5 R principles - Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rot.

The SWAP program allows us to reuse our pomade jars, giving them another cycle of life, rather than simply recycling them. By sending your jars back to us, you’re participating in this lifecycle together with us.

Beyond the SWAP program, we commit to sustainability in the following ways:

Whenever creating a new product, we aim for the most sustainable packaging and product delivery system possible - this is what led us to our zero waste shampoo and conditioner bars.

All of our packaging materials are 100% compostable, and we offset the transportation emissions of every order placed by making a donation to forestry projects, through our partner DotNeutral.

We ship using the United States Postal Service, which means we’re utilizing existing postal routes and not creating a new process just to get your package to you.

We save and re-use all packaging materials we receive. We especially love big boxes - we use them for wholesale orders!

We strive to operate a zero waste barbershop at Church Barber.
